Cherishing our children and modeling for them such virtues as unconditional love and acceptance, gentleness, patience, kindness, integrity, courage, industry and thrift is the greatest good we can do.
Therefore, this book is dedicated to all parents who love and struggle with their children through great difficulties and trials in an unending effort to lead each one along life’s path to truth, virtue and honor.
Acknowledgments
I am deeply grateful to God for my many difficulties and experiences in life. I acknowledge His hand in humbling me and softening my heart by guiding me through times when I thought my heart would break and I could endure no more. His still small voice was there, His hand firm and steady.
As I looked to him as my "Father Model," He opened my understanding to some of His marvelous ways. Indeed, each of the principles shared in this work is consistent with His example as we observe Him acting as our Heavenly Father.
Therefore, a very special Spirit attends this work and those who follow these humble attempts to point out a better way will have success and come to know in their hearts that these simple principles are true and whence they came.
